Stormwater and E&S Plan Regulations Seminar

On Tuesday, May 20th, 2008, the TRC-ACHMM held an evening seminar at The Penn Brewery Company on the northside to discuss Recent Changes to Storm Water and E&S Plan Regulations. The speaker was Mr. Charlie Riling of the West Virginia Division of Highways. Mr. Riling is also the President of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the International Erosion Control Association (MAC/IECA). Along with a discussion of the recent changes to the storm water regulations, we learned a lot about the IECA and their goals, and some best management practices for controlling erosion from construction sites. A turnout of over 20 members and guests attended the seminar which also included a nice dinner, and a tour of the historic Penn Brewery.
