	Pens vs. Islanders TRC ACHMM Networking Event Date of Event: 02/26/2008 Time of Event: 06:30 February TRC-ACHMM Networking & Pittsburgh Penguins Event Where: Carson City Saloon at 1401 East Carson Street, Southside (see Barsmart review below) When: Appetizers served at 6:30 No fee for members in good standing, $25 for guests and members who have not paid their 2008 dues (which includes two drinks and a 2008 TRC membership). The TRC-ACHMM area will be in the “Mezzanine” which overlooks the whole place and has it’s own bar. Drink specials every time the Penguins score!!!!! Barsmart Review: The Carson City Saloon is one of the newest as well as one of the most interesting venues around. The Restaurant and Sports Bar is located in the old bank building at the corner of 14th and East Carson Street across from the Strabucks Coffee. How old? The building was constructed in 1896 and was originally the German Savings Deposit Bank. The building is a combination of Greek and Roman Architecture. They have done a great job of remodeling the place into a three-story bar. The upstairs vault is now the handicap/unisex bathroom and the downstairs vault is a VIP room. Full of sports memorabilia, this place is truly a family owned business started by three brothers that have set out to open a place with everything they look for in bar. With five large HD televisions and 15 screens at the booths, this would have to be considering a location to catch a game whether it be the Pirates, Penguins or Steelers. A complete menu ranging from appetizers, soup and salads to sandwiches and burgers makes this is not only a great spot to stop by after work but for lunch as well. This is a place worth stopping by to checkout. Drink/Food Specials: Happy Hour 5-7PM featuring 1/2 off appetizers plus $1 off all drinks. $1.25 Coors Light Bottles and $2.25 Absolute Drinks from 8-12 Pittsburgh Penguins games in Hi-Definition surround sound!
