The mission of our Chapter is to provide a balanced program for our members in at least the following five areas:

• Environmental Health and Safety
• Regulatory Compliance and Policy
• Science and Technology
• Hazardous Materials Handling, Emergency Response and Remediation
• Strategic Environmental Management

A common goal of all chapters is assist its members in being professionally active so as to further develop awareness of the baseline competency of the CHMM.  As an ACHMM Chapter, therefore, the TRC-ACHMM strives to foster and enhance opportunities for professional growth by encouraging educational programs, peer-group interaction, and the exchange of ideas and information relating to environmental, health and safety, and hazardous materials management.  In doing so, the CHMM will gain not only industry-wide recognition but also, appropriately, legislative and regulatory recognition in the western Pennsylvania region and nationally.

The Chapter acknowledges the IHMM Code of Ethics for CHMMs and promotes them to Chapter members and all CHMMs.
